Cought a cold so been home from work for a couple of days, it really sucks. Although being home usually gives you alot of spare time, and what do I do on my spare time? Finding you guys new tracks ofcourse! Therefore you can expect a new mix here on mixes.se soon, naturally as good as they usually are =) Keep on rockin’!

Yapp, i’m having vacation right now, spending it with some friends in a small village called Färna, a couple of miles outside VästerÃ¥s. I will publush a new mix on saturday so stay tuned

 

 

Yapp, sitting at the hotel in Athens now, really nice! Will be hot like hell today, about 40 degrees they say so i’ve prepared with water! Today we’re going to Akropolis to watch the old ruins there, myself aint that interested in stuff like that though.. Tomorrow we’re going to the island we will spend the comming week on, Egina. I’ve been out in the bush the past 3 days getting my hunting licens. Everything went really smooth, I completed all the shooting tests and the theoretical test, so I’m now a licensed hunter!Only the weapons thats missing now, I’ve just started searching for something good. On the music scene there’s alot of news, I will do a new mix and upload it tonight, so catch back! Hope you enjoy the work I’m doing, I’d really appriciate if you guys could leave some comments on the mixes.

This weekend was spent in Stockholm. On friday I visited Fredrik who graduated, congrats once again. I bought a bottle of champagne if u wonder :>. After his reception we went out to Saltsjöbaden to a party, it was really nice but I was abit too drunk hehe. Saturday I stayed in bed a little to long. After that I went to Mosebacke to meet up with another Fredrik, not the same though, and Aida. We downed some beers and went to Fredsgatan 12. Allthough I was abit to sober for these kind of activities so I headed home around 00:30. Thats when Frida called and said they headed for Lemonbar so I met up with them instead of going home. After Lemonbar we went to Obaren where we downed some more beer. Home around 03 so wasnt too bad, sunday where spent with Malin and Carro in humlegÃ¥rden and checking out the ship “Götheborg” at DjurgÃ¥rden. Awesome ship, you can see more here!. I will post a new mix here soon, it’s abit more “commercial like” with some songs u sure will hear when yu go out the comming months! Keep an eye open

Aye, monday went smooth, met up with a friend after work and we went to Josefinas to have a drink. Ended up at EAST after that, had a really nice time! Now to todays strangest event. Deadmau5 has released a new track. He has been one of my favorite producers before so you might think that i’m really happy today but i’m not. Deadmau5 has realeased alot of shit the past few month, it almost feels like he’s realeasing just for the releasing nowdays. I guess this is pretty common on the EDM scene, when getting famous you get blinded by the money and release tracks just to get the cash for it. It really do suck and I think that this is one of the worst things you can do as a producer. Also, the way he behaved in Oslo when he was supposed to play alongside Schussow was just fucking redicilous. If you havn’t heard about it you can read what happened here.

Deadmau5 cleared up the Beatport Music Awards, and to thank his fans for voting for him he is actually releasing this track as a free download at http://www.beatport.com. The track is called ‘Duo Cad Sordid’ and has a darker techno sound than his previous releases. You might have guessed it allready, nothing for me.. But give it a try, it’s uploaded here!

Home in Stockholm again after the trip to Örebro. Was an awesome evening, not often you see 50+ stay up after 04:00 haha! Me and Frida where spinning like hell, we mixed DJ Antoine with David Bowie, Eric Prydz with Abba and David Guetta with Moneybrother! Last track out made the place go off, Eric Prydz – Call On Me, my mom even asked me the day after what the last track where called lol! Almost everyone who where at the party danced like hell, and remember that it’s 50+ we’re talking about!

So, we’ll endup with a releasecomment; Funkagenda released his new track togheter with a not that known artist called Trophy Twins. It’s avaliable at beatport and is called “Musiq”. A really nice and catchy housetune that you just gotta hear. Only out in a Extended mix so far, but it sure as hell is enough! Yepp, I’m at my parents house now. Mom is really stressed over the party, I can understand that. Myself will go to town to get a 1.5 mm to 3 mm plug to my headphones, can’t get them working with the mixer otherwise. After that Frida is comming here to help out abit with decorations and stuff like that. We’re going to the place the party will be at 15:00 to set up sound and light, I’ll give you an update later on how it went. Apparently my moms friends made a “Pimp my garden” yesterday, so out garden looks kinda hillarious right now. We got a big pink umbrella, tvÃ¥ neon green chairs and a big plastic flower standing in one of her plants. The funny part is that shes an architect, and thoose stuff is things she NEVER would allow in her garden. Oh yeah, a gardensanta made in concrete is standing in the garden too hehe.
