Moving on..

OK, so I know I suck when it comes to the updates. I could do as I usually do and blame my workload at my day job and I will do it once again. I don’t even have time to spin in the clubs at the weekends which really do suck donkey balls. But at least I get to do some really nice shit, leaving for a conference in New York on Sunday for example so I should probably not complain.

I’ve also done some mini sites at work the past week for some domain names that we’re developing services for atm and I learned you can do some really heavy shit with Wordpress. So expect some nice plugins, flash galleries and other stuff at mixes.se in the near future!

Anyway, some random dude used my contact form last week and made me aware of that all mixes but the last was down and I realized that I didn’t upload the mixes when migrating to the new server. So the natural reaction was of cource to upload the mixes again to the server and then the “WTF OMG” came! I’ve got a new computer and my old is laying in bits and pieces at the floor in my apartment. I thought I had moved all data from the old computer but I realized that the damn mixes wasn’t on the new one! So after looking for the old HDD for some days now I finally found it so I’m able to mount it as a removable disk into the new laptop tomorrow at work so I can upload the mixes again to the server.

So what about a new mix? Yes, it’s on it’s way. This one will be a bit more “mature” than the last one, however you mainstream gays will have your share of the cake too as usual =)

New Mix Tomorrow

Yeoo, been working on a new mix today which will be done by tomorrow. Smashing new tracks from Axwell, DONS, Eddie Thoenick, Albin Meyers, Funkagenda and Mango just to mention a few. As you might have guessed by know this mix won’t be the average JCWE mix, it’s got a bit more of a proggy sound over it =) In this mix you’ll also find the new smashing track “Pressure” from the up and coming Swedish house duo Stockholm Syndrome so don’t miss it!

I’ve now updated the wordpress to the latest version, 2.7. This gives me alot of advantages, and alot of the old bugs have been fixed! I’ve also installed a new theme, will play with it today =)

Interesting night

Yesterday was quite interesting, started at fellows 21.00 and played until 01.00! It was a blast, the crowd really partyed as hell! After Fellows I went to Magenta where my friend John is managing the club at Fridays, when we stood at the door waiting for him, with my CD-case of course, a guy asked me what there was in my case. CD’s I said and 5 minutes later I stood behind the decks at magenta doing my thing yet one more time the same evening =) It was a really intense atmosphere, the place was PACKED with people and everybody was waving their hands in the air! Nice as hell and I’ll probably be back at Magenta soon

Computer crash update

The problems I’ve had with my computer finally seems to have come to an end. I’ve found the recite and will sent the computer to the repair shop in a few days which means that I should be back in business within a week =)

Well, the fan on my computer has fucked up totally which means the computer gets hot as hell after 10-15 mins. This means that its impossible to do a new mix now until I’ve fixed it. Hopefully this wont take too long though, I’ll keep you updated :>

Yapp, fridays gig went really good, so good that they want me to come back this friday! =) So now I really need some help from you listeners! I need to come up with a good DJ nickname, so far i’ve been thinking about “Usama Spin Laden” but they I realized im not colored so i’ve put that idea in the trashcan lol!
